Fietsmaatjes Gelderse Vallei is een vrijwilligersorganisatie en wil het gebruik van de duofietsen bevorderen, door

• Deelnemers te enthousiasmeren die niet zelfstandig kunnen fietsen.
• Vrijwilligers te werven die de fiets besturen en voor gezelligheid zorgen.
• Het beheer en optimaal gebruik van een duofiets organisatorisch makkelijker te maken.

De duofiets

Op een duofiets zit je naast elkaar. De duofiets heeft elektrische trapondersteuning, waarbij de vrijwilliger stuurt en trapt. Als deelnemer kunt u meetrappen, als u dat wilt. Verder heeft de fiets een verstelbare zitting.

De fiets is heel wendbaar: met de twee wielen achter en één voorwiel kan de fiets om zijn eigen as draaien!

Het fietsen op een duofiets is met recht plezier voor twee!
